ABOUT ME
I am a licensed clinical social worker with many years of clinical experience working with an underserved culturally diverse population in community mental health. I come from a Latino background, I am fluent in English and Spanish. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I understand the significant roles that language, race, culture, and spirituality play when it comes to mental health, so I am always mindful to incorporate those elements in sessions. It is important for me that you feel safe, heard, and supported.

I am an introvert by nature, which has allowed me to be a good listener, thoughtful and patient. I value emotional insight and connecting with others on a deeper level. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music, dancing, being creative, going to the beach or on nature walks with my family and dog, watching movies or just hanging out.

MY APPROACH
I see therapy as an individualized process that allows for expression of feelings, deepening of self-awareness, self-confidence, empowerment, and inner strength to promote healing and personal growth. Part of the work may be challenging, but I want to support and partner with you in that journey, providing tools and interventions that help you cope with your current struggles. I am passionate about helping others to find balance in their lives, create solutions, reduce stigma and barriers to care.

My approach is strength-based, compassionate and client-focused. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you decide if this is a good fit.
